We collect personal data when you provide it to us as part of your application, in particular
Surname, first name, date of birth
Address, telephone number, e-mail address
Other data from the application documents
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you provide.
Other data sources
We may also process personal data that you provide to us via an active profile in an applicant database or in professional networks.
Purpose and legal basis of data processing
The legal basis for the storage of your personal data is the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).
Data processing serves in particular to select applicants and to establish the employment relationship. The legal basis for this is Art. 88 para. 1 GDPR in conjunction with § 26 para. 1 BDSG.
Your data will only be processed to fill the specific position for which you have applied.
Furthermore, we may process personal data about you insofar as this is necessary for the defence of legal claims asserted against us in the application process.
If there is an employment relationship between you and us, we may continue to process the data we have already received from you if this is necessary for the performance or termination or for the exercise or fulfilment of rights and obligations arising from a law.
How long will your data be stored?
In the event of rejection, your personal data will be stored for the duration of the application process and deleted six months after completion of the application process, unless you have given us your consent to store it for longer.
We process and store your personal data after termination of the employment relationship for as long as is necessary to fulfil our statutory, commercial and tax retention obligations. The retention obligations are regulated in the German Commercial Code and the German Fiscal Code, among others. The storage periods are up to 10 years. In addition, personal data may be stored for the period in which claims can be asserted against us (limitation period according to §§195, 197 BGB three to thirty years).

Your data will only be forwarded to the internal departments and specialised departments of our company responsible for applications.
